Such a great find! Every dish we tried was impressive and the food came out surprisingly fast — maybe 10 to 15 minutes, which was unexpected in the best way. The shrimp tacos were perfect, and the server recommended a pork chop that wasn't even on the menu — it turned out to be one of the highlights of the meal, the sauce was really something. The homemade roll was a lovely touch too. The jambalaya was quite spicy for my taste but incredibly flavorful, and the gumbo was also really good. We also happened to meet the chef who was genuinely warm and friendly, which made the whole experience feel even more special. Our server was exceptionally kind throughout. Noticed a lot of people picking up takeout orders too — clearly a local favorite and for good reason.

Hubby and I had the shrimp basket which is the special on Thursdays. Fried shrimp, jambalaya, coleslaw, hush puppies, roll and a drink. Wow! Lots to eat and all absolutely delicious. Service was very friendly and caring. Atmosphere is really cute. Will go back. We also took home a small white chocolate bread pudding; sinfully delicious.
